The pre-workout meal

The pre-workout meal should be ingested anywhere between 2-3 hours prior to weight training. The reason is during a weight training session the main source of energy is coming from within the muscle. Prior to your workout session it would be beneficial to eat a carbohydrate and protein rich meal 2-3 hours prior ensuring the early stages of digestion are complete or near complete. If not enough time is allowed for the completion of digestion some of the side effects can be dizziness or nausea.
